At a nearby market.
It is almost May.
Looks nice to go out and look for the koinobori flying high in the expnasive May blue sky.
788. Let's have streetcars
The Utunomiya LRT made me reconfirm the lure of streetcars.
Thus, I tried to convert the elevated light rail here to the streetcar.
The left shows present. On the elevated track.
The right is an image running at 1-choume street of my area.
Of course, this is a fake combined by the photos at hands.
This will let me easily go into the train from the sidewalk.
At present, thinking of going up and down the staircase makes me choose walking to the main station.
The trains at Utunomiya and here, train lenght just less than 30m, width about 2.6m, weight 39ton and 30ton, are almost same in dimension.
And the power system, overhead line DC750V, 100kW motor x 3 / ground solid line DC750VA150 kW motor x 2, are also almost same.
The train here is on the tire from the beginning, so, to add the guiding rails on the road, and to change to the overhead feeding, or to adopt the trendy battery system with fast charging at each station or the likes will work out.

Flowers under the sazanka hedge blooming again this year.
In summer, this blooms repeatedly many times.
It was originally bought as a potted plant, and was later transplanted at this place after withering or something similar.
Although it has been left there unattended for years, it has held out at this fixed position.
786. LRT
Visited Utunomiya after a long while.
The visit was just for riding this train.
I tried a round trip ride by parking my car at a square in front of the Honda factory.
Although there is a light rail system at our place too, it runs on the dedicated track, and we have to go up and down the stairs to the 2-story house-roof level. Though elevators are available,
there is a world of difference between the two, physically and psychologically,
when compared to getting on and off without hassle on the ground level like in the photo train.
Both the exterior and interior are awesome.
785. Hana-mizuki
Flowers I saw at a park.
Greenish? Neither white nor pink. But, by all appearances, it is to be the hana-mizuki.
Checking online shows that either of the species is greenish in the beginning stage.
